Abstract

This training was developed to provide material to help in the training of users in the hazards and safe handling of oxygen.

This training will provide basic safety information to inform the user, so that hazards are understood and risks are mitigated. It covers the following areas:
• Oxygen properties;
• Working around oxygen;
• Fire hazards;
• Oxygen leaks and spills;
• Oxygen cleaning; and
• Materials of construction.

This training does not cover equipment or system design.
